Bryan R. Ellis, CPA
Bryan started his small business and individual income tax practice in 2005, after preparing returns for family and friends since 1999. Bryan serves businesses and individuals throughout the United States, but is focused primarily on serving Southern California. Bryan prepares Federal and State tax returns in addition to providing tax planning and wealth management services.
Prior to starting his own individual and small business tax practice, Bryan worked in the corporate tax department at Mattel, Inc. focusing on international tax compliance and planning for a Fortune 500 company. Before working at Mattel, Bryan worked as a CPA at Ernst & Young LLP, a Big 4 Accounting firm for 5 years. At Ernst & Young, Bryan specialized in international taxes for a variety of companies; including Jacobs Engineering, Tarrant Apparel Group, PriceSmart, Vans, Lions Gate Entertainment Group, Whirlpool, Caterpillar, Deere & Company, and J.D. Power & Associates.
Bryan received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois. He completed his Master of Science in Taxation at Golden Gate University.
Bridgette M. Ellis, CPA
Bridgette received her Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Colorado in May 2000 and was certified by the California State Board of Accountancy in 2003.
Bridgette began her career with the international accounting firms of Arthur Andersen LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP and spent a period of 6 years performing independent financial statement audits for a variety of companies in residential and commercial land development and property management, resort management, manufacturing, technology, healthcare and hospitality. In her last year with Deloitte, Bridgette specialized in performing financial due diligence for various private equity and strategic clients in aerospace and defense, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Ellis & Associates, Inc. Bridgette was a Manager in the internal audit department for CB Richard Ellis focusing on review of key operational procedures, domestic and international subsidiary reviews, and SOX 404 compliance, for a Fortune 500 company. In addition, Bridgette started her own small business performing accounting and bookkeeping services for businesses located in Southern California and preparing tax returns for family and friends in 2009.
